Neck pain are very common among today’s population. The reason for this pain may liein improper sitting positions at work or in dysfunctions we are predisposed to. Our
objective in this paper was to gather dates that help us to determine which of the two
techniques used, either the osteopathic technique or the physiotherapy with Kinesiotape,
could be more beneficent for the patient.
The sample was carried out with 30 patients who suffer of cervical pain. 15 of them were
treated by osteopathic technique and the other 15 by neuromuscular taping (Kinesiotape).
The pain improved significantly in the group who received osteopathic treatment. The
expectations were not met in the scope of movements and we observed an important
improvement in patients treated with neuromuscular taping, although both groups
improved.
Moreover, we noted in the quality of sleep that both groups achieved improvements,
whereat it was to say that the figures increased in those patients who received
neuromuscular taping. - Abstract

Els dolors cervicals són molt comuns en la població actual. Ja sigui per les postures
mantingudes a la feina o per disfuncions a les que estem predisposats. Amb aquest
treball el que es volia aconseguir era un recull de dades que ens ajudessin a clarificar
quina de les dues terapèutiques utilitzades; l’enfoc des d’un punt de vista osteopàtic
tinguent en compte varis dels factor coadjuvants, o bé l’embenat amb kinesiotape, donava
millors resultats en el benestar del pacient.
La mostra es va realitzar amb 30 pacients que pateixen cervicàlgia tensional crònica, 15
dels quals se’ls hi realitzà tres técniques osteopàtiques, i als altres 15 se’ls hi varen
aplicar una tècnica de embenat neuromuscular (kinesiotape).
El dolor millorà de manera significativa en el grup tractat amb osteopatia. En l’amplitud de
moviment no es va complir lo previst i es veié una millora significativa amb els pacients
tractacts amb embenat neuromuscular, encara que ambdos grups van millorar. Així com
en la qualitat de la son també es veié una millora en els dos grups, destacà el major
benefici en els pacients tractats amb embenat neuromuscular. - presented at
